Hi, I’m Megan

I’m a Product Designer and UX Strategist who specializes in designing production-critical systems — the kind that sit at the intersection of user experience, engineering constraints, and real business rules.

Most of my work lives inside complex, regulated environments where speed, safety, and scalability are non-negotiable. I focus on making those systems understandable, predictable, and usable — without oversimplifying the realities they operate within.

As the sole product designer at a rapidly scaling fintech (acquired for $500M), I’ve led end-to-end system architecture and experience design across multiple product lines. My role sits deeply inside product strategy: translating policy and risk constraints into clear product behavior, aligning stakeholders around irreversible decisions, and ensuring platforms scale without fragmentation.

I’m known for designing reversible systems, pressure-testing tradeoffs early, and building foundations that support future growth rather than one-off solutions. I work closely with product, engineering, and business leaders to ship systems that are not just usable — but durable.

Outside of work, I’m a lifelong athlete and team leader. I thrive in collaborative environments, value direct communication, and bring a steady, systems-first mindset to everything I build.

Perspectives from the leaders and teammates who trusted me with complex, high-stakes work. Across multiple teams and leaders, the consistent theme of my work has been improving decision quality in complex systems.

Megan made the entire organization better at thinking about users and decisions.

Over the year we worked together at StrongArm, she built and scaled the User Research function in a way that fundamentally improved how product decisions were made across the company.

She didn’t just deliver insights — she created shared understanding. By educating PMs, designers, and leadership on how to reason about user problems, she enabled teams to tackle complex, multi-persona challenges with more clarity, rigor, and confidence.

Megan combines deep curiosity with strong execution, and consistently focuses on the highest-impact problems. She is a true force multiplier for any Product + Design organization..”

Teammate, Sr Leader

Megan is the rare designer who operates comfortably inside complex systems. At StrongArm, she consistently translated ambiguity, constraints, and conflicting inputs into clear, decision-ready insight for product and engineering leadership.

Her work directly shaped roadmap priorities and execution — not through abstraction, but through rigorous synthesis and precise communication. She understands how decisions actually get made inside real organizations, and designs her work to support that reality.

Megan is deeply effective in high-stakes environments where clarity, judgment, and trust matter.

Megan played a key role in moving StrongArm toward a more human-centered, decision-driven product organization.

She consistently leveraged both qualitative and quantitative inputs to surface real user pain points, then crafted clear, compelling narratives that directly influenced product strategy. Importantly, she didn’t stop at insight — she translated those findings into concrete design decisions that addressed the underlying problems.

Megan brings a rare combination of analytical rigor and steady presence. She elevates the quality of thinking in a room while helping teams stay focused and aligned through complex work.
